തിരുവനന്തപുരം ന്യൂ തിയറ്ററില്‍ ഇന്നത്തെ വൈകിട്ട് 6 മണിക്കുള്ള ഷോയാണ് കണ്ടത്. ഹൌസ് ഫുള്‍ ആയിരുന്നു. 30 ശതമാനവും ഫാമിലി ഓഡിയന്സ് ആയിരുന്നു. എന്‍റര്‍ടൈനര്‍ പട്ടികയില്‍ പെടുത്താന്‍ പറ്റില്ല. തികച്ചും ക്ലാസ്സിക്. പഴശ്ശിരാജ എന്ന് സ്ക്രീനില്‍ തെളിയുംബോള്‍ എല്ലാവരും കയ്യടിച്ചുപോകും. മോഹന്‍ ലാലിന്‍റെ അവതരണവും കയ്യടി നേടി. മമ്മൂട്ടിയെ ആദ്യമായി കാണിക്കുംബോള്‍ വന്‍ ആര്‍പ്പുവിളികളായിരുന്നു. ഇടക്ക് ഒന്നുരണ്ട് തവണ ചില വിരുതന്മാരുടെ അപശബ്ദങള്‍ മറ്റുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയെങ്കിലും മമ്മൂട്ടി ഫാന്സ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ അവരെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
ഇനി ചിത്രത്തെക്കുറിച്ച്, ഇത്രയും പേരെ അണിനിരത്തി ഇത്തരമൊരു ചിത്രമൊരുക്കിയ നിര്‍മാതാവ് ഗോകുലം ഗോപലനും, സംവിധായകന്‍ ഹരിഹരനും അഭിനന്ദനങള്‍. എം.ടി.യുടെ തിരക്കധക്ക് ശക്തി കുറഞ്ഞോ എന്നൊരു സംശയം. ആദ്യ പകുതിയേക്കാള്‍ രണ്ടാം പകുതി ജീവനുള്ളതായി. അവസാന അര മണിക്കൂര്‍ പ്രേക്ഷകരെ വിസ്മയിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. ചരിത്രപരമായ കധാപാത്രങള്‍ ചെയ്യാന്‍ മലയാളത്തില്‍ മറ്റൊരു നടനില്ലാത്തത് മമ്മൂട്ടിക്ക് നേട്ടമായി. പഴശ്ശിയാകാന്‍ മമ്മൂട്ടിക്ക് വലിയ പ്രയാസം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല എന്ന് ച

Excellent movie. Monumental movie of our times - sify.com. Majestic - indiaglitz.com. Brilliant - rediff.com. Film which has not happened ever in Malayalam and might not happen again in future - Mathrubhumi. So, from all these reviews we can make out the mindset of jealous people who is writing bad comments here. One thing is for sure - This is not a MASS MASALA film with 10 fights and 5 dances. This is a classic historical movie. So, if you are on the look out for a masala movie, please do not go for this. You can see Robinhood of wait for Angel John to release. This is a film which makes Malayalam cinema proud.
