i completely agree with mohanlal .pazhassiraja has a budget around 26 crores and now he is saying to curtail the budget.what is the logic behind this opinion.in order to make good films, you have to compromise on budget.malayalam films should explore new markets like tamil cinema.the quality of films should be improved.

I support Mohanlal because if producers are ready to take the risk why the actors should make any problem. And Mammooty just express his opinion only and he didn’t tell any thing against Mohanlal and why you are giving the news like this. People can express their opinions and its not necessary for Mammooty & Mohanlal to support each other in each & every matters.

mohanlal's stand is correct. cost is not the criteria; quality shud be maintained and the ingredients shud match with the script. if cost could be reduced- well and good but shud not be sacrificing the required ingredients. it is rubbish agreeing with restricting the film budget to 3.5 c while mammootty's pazhassiraja is said to cost 26 c.

No film makers can confine to Rs. 3.5 cr. exactly as per Union's Rule. It is utter bullshit! Production costs may vary depending upon the movies' demand for good location & hi-tech technology for perfection. Budget is not important, if a movie demands high dimensional ingredients inorder to adhere to what the scripts demand, cost cannot be confined to a specific budget more so b'coz commercial movies are made to reach out to the mass of 4 south indian states, where the cost factor does not arise.
