mohanlal and mammootty is not at all a liability for malayalam cinema .both of them are real assets for indian cinema. they get enough money because they deserve that. if there films are flop nobody come to take films with them .now also both of them booked for more than three years.that means they are worth for malayalam cinema and indian cinema

It is not fair to put all the blame on the superstars - dont forget these people once upon a time used to produce n direct films with these superstars and hv made money. Superstars have an important role in making the condition of Malayalam film industry worse. They should have initiated changes and supported new actors. Only heroins are changing in Malayalam. Remember those old days when Mohanlal and Mamooty came to film industry. Now film industry is having only ego conflicts and real creative works are not initiated. Our superstars should produce films with upcoming heroes and help them with a platform. The upcoming directors and technicians are also following same culture and end up in creating useless films. There are great technicians and directors that Malayalam has. They are nw looking forward to other languages. The technical aspects of malayalam films are very poor when compared to Tamil or Telugu.
